Please make an integration for Retell AI’s Chat Agent so Chat Dash can accept that type of agents ID. I feel it could work similar with similar analytics, conversation history (just no audio)
Our client wants a chat widget which supports both voice and text chat but your integration doesn’t appear to support the text agent. This also means that we aren’t able to automatically monitor and bill for the text agent usage. Having the widget support both modalities will help us meet the client’s needs.
Chat agents are not showing up with retell integration
When I connect my retell account it only pulls up my voice agents and not my chat agents. what am I missing? the reason for getting this product was to have chat agents on my website and I cant figure it out. Any suggestions?

Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Currently, ChatDash does not support Retell’s text-based chat agents. I recommend using other platforms(Voiceflow etc) for text-based agents.
It seems there may be a way to do it with a Custom Agent and an API call I believe, right? In a chat I had with Fibi Bot, you can send a webhook from retell to n8n, configure the code, and send to chatdash either via the agent webhook or API. Please correct my if I’m wrong. I’m trying to find a workaround here. Not interested in adding a custom menu and hosting a page for this.

I would also like Chat-Dash to support the Retell AI chat. Because of this issue I’m having to jump between using Voiceflow for chat integration (which chat-dash supports their chat agent, but I’m finding Voiceflow’s voice AI is not as good as Retell AI) and Retell AI for Voice integration. I would like to be able to use Retell AI for both.

Unfortunately, our current Retell integration does not work with chat agents. It appears they have recently added this new “chat agent” type, but they are very much different compared to voice agents in how we must integrate it into our dashboard. For now you will have to take our Retell integration as a “voice agent” only integration as we follow what Retell do with this new chat agent type and evaluate if we will support it on ChatDash.
