Client access

Manage what you want your clients to see in their dashboard.

Overview

ChatDash allows you to take over full control on what your clients can see and do within their client dashboard. You can manage client access by turning on/off specific features and settings for each agent assigned to a client. (This means that you can give different access levels to each agent assigned to a client if they have multiple agents!)

Managing Client Access

  1. Login as an agency user in ChatDash.

  2. Go to the Agents tab in the ChatDash dashboard.

  3. Find the agent you want to manage access for and click on it.

  4. Click on Client Access tab on the Agent Settings page.

  5. You will see a page with the following options:

Toggle the switches to turn on/off the features and settings you want to give access to the client.


Shared Client Menus

  • Analytics: Allow the client to view analytics data.

  • Conversations: Allow the client to view conversation data.

  • Knowledge Base (KB): Some platforms require KB ID when creating a chatbot for clients to see the knowledge base in their dashboard. See what platforms require KB Ids.

  • Topics

  • Agent Settings: Allow clients to customize their agent’s setting (same page in agency dashboard).
